Why We Weekended in The Quad Cities

We normally wouldn’t have chosen The Quad Cities as a weekend-getaway destination, but when Bon Iver decided to tour 22, A Million we knew immediately we would go wherever they were playing. They announced a show at The Rustbelt, a new venue in East Moline, IL, and it was decided. We have been waiting to see Bon Iver play their newest (and our favorite) album since it debuted in the fall of 2016, and after one missed opportunity last summer we were not about to skip out. The concert was incredible, but getting to see it together made the trip to this region of small, rural communities completely worth it.
