yes, moons en masse is on facebook! and you should go like our page. this is why.

i was listening to a kraig adams podcast today, and in it he discusses how all his social media platforms serve a different purpose. alex and i have definitely been struggling with this as we lack the ample time necessary to consistency on just a handful of platforms, let alone ones we don't necessarily find as intrinsically and immediately valuable (ahem, facebook, ahem). but! we figured out a way to make facebook a super valuable platform to share our ideas.
this page will be where we will post any work that isn't ours that inspires us. i know we pretty frequently reference other people's work in our blog posts, but alex and i feel that it is so important for us to put this media in a more accessible and condensed space. our pursuit of "good" media - whether it's on youtube, netflix, podcasts, or other people's blogs - have truly shaped our tastes, goals, and understanding of what it possible in this world in irrevocable ways. ways that i wouldn't change. and i find new videos, podcasts, articles, and blog posts every day that excite me. we've been able to broaden our world view, explore our values, and learn more about things we are interested in all because of the technology we hold in our hands every day. and that's really, really cool. but not all media is "good" - you have to search for it, and this takes time.
we want to be a filter for other likeminded people who are looking for uplifting, innovative, content. here, you can be sure you'll always find some golden nugget of inspiration without having to look too hard, because we shouldn't have to waste our time. our technology is already set up to suck us in, and keep us there. to keep us focused on a tiny square, and red circles; detaching ourselves from the rest of the world. that's not our goal with filter. we want to give you access to meaningful media quickly. media that excites, inspires, and brings joy. because to us media certainly can be a value-add to our lives when we give it the aligned attention, intention, and direction.
head over to facebook to start checking it out. every monday, wednesday, and friday we'll have something new to check out. we'll rotate between mediums each time we post something. we also won't go in chronological order, so you might see some "oldies but goodies" crop up more often than not. and please like our page and post comments if you're excited by what we're up to. our goal with our facebook page is to create an online community of like-minded people looking for similar content. if we can engage with each other it will make the content even more meaningful!
