first vacation in 5 years.

moonbeam and i have been together for nearly 5 years now. since day one, our time together has always been the most precious commodity we have. to our surprise, as well as many others, we've never been on a proper vacation together.

in 5 years, the two of us have never been on vacation together.

i had to put that twice. it's just so wild.

we've been to many places over the last 5 years, but never together. when we do go places together, it's always to visit our families in wisconsin and michigan.

but today that all changes. we've decided to check out louisville - it is a place we've been wanting to visit, and tickets were incredibly reasonable (we've also have never been on a plane together). we're both incredibly stoked to be somewhere completely new. a very rare occurrence.

Accommodations have been booked but other than that we have absolutely no plan. And we are very excited about that. We are both very much looking to exploring around wherever the city takes us.
