days on & days off.

the main intent has always been to catalog. as i pretty regularly work during the week, our memories together are on weekends. more often than not, leaving moonbeam with her inconsistent schedule to having the occasional weekday off to herself. a lot of time this feels like lost time, time we could've had together but the stars didn't align the time.

about a month ago, it lined up where she was off and i was working, but i was sent to scout a location for an upcoming shoot. not having a car in the city, we rarely get the opportunity to take a little day trip. but with company car, i brought her along with me to valparaiso, indiana.

we drove the 2 hours and stopped at dagger mountain roastery. friends of mine having been raving about it for some time. it was spectacular.

she stayed at the coffee shop until my scouting was finished.

i picked her up and we headed into town, grabbed some dinner & headed home.

reminded us both of how precious our time together is.

there's just no person i'd rather make new memories with.
